Pontus de Laval

SAAB AB is today a company active in the Defence industry and Security for military and civil applications

Pontus is Senior Vice President Technology Saab AB. Responsible for the Saab Group’s long term technology strategy. He was earlier GM for the Electronic Warfare division and has been involved with SaabTech Electronics and the direct Sensor Division.

Pontus was earlier a member of the board of CHACH (Competence centre for high speed electronics funded by Nutek, industry and Chalmers) and was industry representative in a steering committee for co-operation between industry and university funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research.

This means that Pontus is one of the most suited persons that can talk with insight about all three themes of the years Embedded Conference Scandinavia: Wireless Communication, Safe and Secure Systems and cooperation research- industry.

He holds a Master of Science, Electrical Engineering, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (KTH) and Executive Master of Business Administration, Stockholm School of Economics (Handelshögskolan)
